Sometimes the absence of a set can have even more impact. To keep the focus on the model, I kept this shoot simple and set out to create something the viewer gets to finish in their own mind. Thw all-black outfit and a single prop naturally reinforced power, while leaving the story open to interpretation. Is she a secret agent, an outlaw, or something else entirely? That's for the viewer to decide. Two different editing styles further showed how the same images can take on completely different moods and narratives.
