3/3 — The Lyrics cypher series is built around the idea of bringing together three OGs and three newcomers, showcasing the variety that exists within the scene. To tie all episodes together, I created a custom Lyrics mic by spray-painting it in the colors of the featured lyrics and applying the letters by hand, giving the series a recognizable element throughout. While these foundations stayed the same, every episode was built around a different setting. For "Campfire," we used my family's restaurant, taking advantage of the scenery that matched the R&B vibes of the artists. As daylight turned into night, the changing atmosphere became part of the experience.
